The Covid-19 pandemic has been brutal for many of us, but it has also allowed us to explore new hobbies and activities. For me, that hobby was painting. I never considered myself an artist before, but the lockdown provided the perfect environment to try it.   At first, I wasn’t sure what kind of painting I wanted to do, so I started with abstract art. Abstract art allows freedom of expression without the pressure of creating something “perfect” or “realistic”; there are no rules or expectations—just complete creative freedom. This appealed to me immensely and allowed me to explore my artistic capabilities.
